Spain's DGOJ extends consultation on risky gambling behaviour detection mechanism to 26 October

By The Weekly Edge desk ·

Summary

Spain's gambling regulator, the DGOJ, has added four days to the second public consultation on its draft resolution approving a mechanism for detecting risky player behaviour. The new deadline is 26 October 2026 inclusive, replacing the date set in the 9 October 2026 agreement. Comments must reach the Subdirección General de Regulación del Juego by 23:59 on that date, and all other conditions of the process are unchanged.

Why it matters

The extension gives Spanish stakeholders additional time to comment on a draft mechanism for detecting risky player behaviour.
